An independent magnetic survey was conducted in 2008 and encountered new anomalous untested prospective iron ore zones close to surface on all properties. The potential exists for a multi-million tonne deposit suitable for open pit mining on all properties.

Some production has occurred in and around these claim areas with the Iron Mountain area yielding over 400,000 tonnes from 1949 to 1954.
